  • The 2025-2026 Adopted Budget for the General Fund, Water Fund, Sewer Fund and Youth Commission Fund for the Village of Dannemora for the year of June 1st, 2025 -May 31st, 2026 is now available to view online.​​​

Official Notice: Winter Parking Restrictions

  • Effective November 1, 2025, parking is strictly prohibited on all Village streets between the hours of 2:00am and 6:00am. This regulation is in place to ensure safe and efficient snow removal and winter maintenance operations. We appreciate the cooperation of all residents and visitors.

 

Upcoming Road Closure Notice – Barker & Bouck Streets​

  • Please be advised of an upcoming road closure on Barker Street and Bouck Street as part of a New York State Department of Corrections and Community Supervision (NYSDOCCS) construction project at Clinton Correctional Facility. The closure is currently scheduled to continue for the next two months, Monday through Friday, between 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

 

Looking Ahead – Spring/Summer 2026:

  • Construction activity will expand significantly during Spring/Summer 2026, extending from the prison grounds across Route 374 (Cook Street) and continuing down Barker Street. This phase of the project includes the replacement and repair of underground tunnel infrastructure connecting to manholes and is expected to last several months. Residents and motorists should anticipate delays, with access limited to local traffic only within the closure areas. The Village will continue to share updates as they are provided by the project lead for Clinton Correctional Facility, MASSA Construction Company.
