Fall Cleanup Days

Every Monday • October 19 – November 30, 2026

Holiday pickup weeks will be skipped.

• Village residents can take this opportunity to remove any tree limbs, grass clippings and leaves from their property. The Village will pick up these items and dispose of them without cost to the resident. All tree limbs and branches must be less than three inches in diameter and less than four feet long, stacked at  the curbside. All grass clippings and leaves must be placed in PAPER BAGS for removal. No trash, garbage, metal, glass or plastics will be accepted. These days will be advertised annually during the spring and fall.​

WINTER PARKING BAN NOTICE

• The Village of Dannemora Winter Parking Ban will be in effect November 1, 2026 through April 1, 2027, between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM.

  • During these hours, NO vehicles or motorized vehicles of any kind may be parked on any Village street or sidewalk.

  • We ask all residents to please be considerate and understand that this parking restriction is necessary to allow DPW crews to safely and effectively plow snow, remove ice, and maintain our roadways throughout the winter season. Vehicles parked on streets or sidewalks create hazards and can significantly interfere with snow removal operations.

• Enforcement Notice:

  • Any vehicle found in violation of the Winter Parking Ban may be ticketed by the Village Parking Enforcement Officer. Fines begin at $50.00 and may be subject to additional penalties as provided by Village Code.

  • Please make arrangements to park vehicles off-street during the overnight hours of 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM.

  • Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep our streets safe, accessible, and clear throughout the winter months.
